  • question_answer 2)
On one occasion the children said, 'How happy we are here!' Later they said. "How happy we were there!" What were they referring to in both the cases ?

    Answer:

The children enjoyed playing in the garden when the Giant was out on his tour to some other place. The children said, "How happy we are here!" After seven years the Giant came back and saw them playing there. As he was selfish by nature he shut his garden for them forever.  Now the children had no other place to play. Remembering their happy days in the garden they said, "How happy we were there!".
