(b) Chronic disease last for long time even for lifetime and cause long term effects on human health. e.g., tuberculosis and arlnritis. (c) Infectious diseases are caused by attack of pathogens and can pass from one person to another. e.g., malaria and chickenpox. (d) Non-infectious diseases are caused by factors other than living pathogens and are not e.g., transmitted. e.g., diabetes and goitre.
