(i) Mohan gets four correct and six incorrect answers. What is his score? (ii) Reshma gets five correct answers and five incorrect answers, what is her score? (iii) Heena gets two correct and five incorrect answers out of seven questions she attempts.  What is her score?

                (i) Mohan gets for four correct answers                                        \[\text{4}\times \text{5}=\text{2}0\] marks He also gets for six incorrect answers.                                             \[\text{6}\times (-\text{2})=-\text{ 12}\] marks. Therefore, Mohan score \[=\text{2}0+(-\text{ 12})\]\[=\text{2}0-\text{12}=\text{8}\] marks. (ii) Reshma gets for five correct answers \[\text{5}\times \text{5}=\text{25}\] marks She also gets for five incorrect answers \[\text{5}\times (-\text{ 2})=-\text{1}0\] marks Therefore, Reshma score \[=\text{25}+(-\text{1}0)\]\[\text{25}-\text{1}0\]\[=\text{15}\] marks. (iii) Heena gets for two correct answers                                            \[\text{2}\times \text{5}=\text{1}0\] marks.
