    Pteridophyta Thallophyta Bryophyta
    These are the plants having true roots, stems and leaves marked by the presence of vascular system. Plants body is thallus-like with no differentiation into root, stem and leaves and no vascular system. These have root-like and leaf-like structures but does not contain true roots, stems and leaves. The true vascular system is  also not present.
    The sex organs are multicellular, fertilisation results in the formation of embryo. The sex organs are single-celled and the fertilisation does  not lead to formation of embryo The sex organs are multicellular and ' embryo is formed after fertilisation.
