                     (a) Thallophyta includes the plants with simple body design. (b) Pinus and Cycas belong to gymnosperms. (c) Flowering plants are also called as angiosperms. The angiosperms are divided into two groups on the basis of the number of cotyledons present in the seed. ·         Monocotyledonous Plants with seeds having a single cotyledon are called monocotyledonous or monocots. ·         Dicotyledonous Plants with seeds having two cotyledons are called dicotyledonous or dicots.
