            Madhav feels irritated and upset when heat  becomes  unbearable  during summers especially after rainy season. He wanted to know the reason for this. So he asked his father about the reason behind this phenomenon. His father explained the fact properly. Madhav thanked   his   father   for   such explanations. Read the above passage and answer the following questions. (i) How did father of Madhav would have explain the fact? (ii) What are the values shown by Madhav?

Answer:

                (i) Father of Madhav would have explained him that after the rains, the air remains saturated with water vapour. Thus, the rate of evaporation of sweat from our body slows down. As the body does not lose heat (by sweating),  therefore  the heat becomes unbearable. (ii) Madhav showed values like  curiosity and general awareness.
