      Carbon dioxide is necessary for plants. Why do we consider it as a pollutant?

    Answer:

                                       Carbon dioxide gas is necessary for plants to performs photosynthesis. It is also a greenhouse gas. Up to certain concentration (approx 350 ppm) in atmosphere, it is both good raw material as well as essential for keeping the Earth warm. But, when concentration of from certain level rises it becomes a pollutant because it results in global warming. Due to which temperature of the Earth will increase and polar ice and glaciers will start melting.
