(ii) The wealthy Parsis adopted western style clothing as they were sign
of progress and modernity.
(iii) Even leaders like Motilal Nehru used fine Indian
cloth material; but not the coarse Khadi material.
(iv) As western dress style was for all most adopted as a
mark of equality.
