(a) The
two reasons for the seasonal movement of Gujjar Bakarwals are
(i) In winter, when the high mountains were covered with snow, Gujjar
Bakarwals lived with their herds in the low hills of the Siwalik range. Because
the dry scrub forests of this region provided food for their catties.
(ii) By the end of April, they began their Northern March
for their summer grazing grounds. In the summer, the snow melted and the area
was covered with variety of grasses which provided nutritious forage for the catties.
(b) From the above passage I have learnt, the importance
of nature in human life.
