                  (d) Democracies are more prosperous than others is not a good argument in favour of democracy because countries of the Middle East like UAE and Saudi Arabia are economically strong but they have non-democratic governments, whereas India is a developing country but is a democracy. The poor countries can be democratic while the rich ones may not be. A good monarch can make his country more prosperous than some of the democracies.
