| From the above figure, shortest distance between school and coaching centre = BC |
| \[=\sqrt{{{(-2-3)}^{2}}+{{(8-4)}^{2}}}\] |
| \[=\sqrt{{{(-5)}^{2}}+{{(4)}^{2}}}=\sqrt{25+16}=\sqrt{41}\]units |
