Here, \[\angle BCD\] is an angle made by arc BC on circumference. \[\therefore \] \[\angle BCD=\frac{1}{2}\times \angle BOD\] \[=\frac{1}{2}\times {{72}^{{}^\circ }}={{36}^{{}^\circ }}\]
