       Given, \[m=120\text{ }kg\] \[u=108\text{ }km/hr=108\times \frac{5}{18}=30\,m/s\] \[v=0\] (\[\because \] the car is coming to rest) we know, \[F=ma\]                        ............ (1) we have to find ?a? From the relation, \[v=u+at,\]we get \[a=\frac{v-u}{t}\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[\frac{30-0}{10}=3\,m/{{s}^{2}}\] Substituting all the above values in equation (1), we get \[F=120\times 3=360\text{ }N\]
