    Solution :

                       In series \[{C}'=C/n\]  i.e. \[C=n{C}'=2\times 3=6\,\mu F\]                    In parallel \[{C}'=nC\]i.e.  \[C=\frac{{{C}'}}{n}=\frac{12}{2}=6\,\mu F\]
