    Perimeter of the rectangle \[=60\text{ }cm\] From the figure, length is \[(3k-2)\,cm\] and breadth is \[(k+4)\,cm\] \[\therefore \]  \[2\left[ (3k-2)+(k+4) \right]=60\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[2[4k+2]=60\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[4k+2=30\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[4k=28\]                 \[k=\frac{28}{4}=7\]
