So, his expenses on food = Rs \[1200\times \frac{1}{4}=Rs\,\,300\] Money left with him after fooding = Rs. 1200  - Rs. 300 = Rs. 900 Now, \[\frac{3}{10}\] th of the remaining money is spent on house rent. Therefore, money spent on house rent = Rs. \[900\times \frac{3}{10}=Rs\,\,270\] Money left after house rent = Rs. 900  - Rs. 270 = Rs. 630 Money spent on the education of his children = Rs. \[630\times \frac{5}{21}=Rs\,\,150\] Money left after all expenses = Rs. 630  - Rs. 150 = Rs. 480 Therefore, his monthly saving = Rs. 480.
