    [d] \[n\,\,(A)=75%\,\,\text{of}\,\,600\]o \[=\left( \frac{75}{100}\times 600 \right)=450,\] \[n\,\,(B)=45%\,\,\text{of}\,\,600\] \[=\left( \frac{45}{100}\times 600 \right)=270\]             and \[n\,\,(A\cup B)=600\]             \[\therefore \] \[n\,\,(A\cup B)\]                         \[=n\,\,(A)+n\,\,(B)-n\,\,(A\cup B)\]                         \[=(450+270-600)=120\]
