                       \[\frac{N}{{{N}_{0}}}={{\left( \frac{1}{2} \right)}^{n}}\] Þ \[\frac{1}{16}={{\left( \frac{1}{2} \right)}^{4}}={{\left( \frac{1}{2} \right)}^{n}}\] Þ n = 4. Also \[n=\frac{t}{{{T}_{1/2}}}\] Þ \[{{T}_{1/2}}=\frac{40}{4}=10\,days\]
