    [c] Ratio of the given numbers \[=\frac{3}{2}:\frac{8}{3}=9:16\] Let the numbers be 9x and 16x, Then,    \[\frac{9x+15}{16x+15}=\frac{(5/3)}{(5/2)}=\frac{2}{3}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[3\,(9x+15)=2\,(16x+15)\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[5x=15\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[x=3\] Larger number \[=(16\times 3)=48\]
