Give an example of socio-cultural environment. How does it influence a person?

    Answer:

Socio-cultural environment is a part of the human environment and is linked with our natural environment. Punjab and Kerala are two states that are totally different in terms of their physical and socio-cultural environment. Their food habits, house types, festivals are totally different e.g. the staple food crop grown in Punjab is wheat. So Chapatis, Naan etc., made from wheat are eaten. On the other hand the rice is grown in Kerala and it is their staple diet. The festival on am is celebrated as a rice festival around August while in Punjab Baisakhi is the harvest festival celebrated in April in which wheat is harvested.
