In which region are the Tropical Rainforests found? How do the rainforest trees adapt to the tropical climate?

    Answer:

The Tropical Rainforests are found between latitudes \[5{}^\circ N\] and \[5{}^\circ ~S\]of the equator. These forests experience high temperatures (about \[26{}^\circ C\]), throughout the year and very high annual rainfall for over 2000 mm. The humidity is also very high. These areas experience convectional rainfall every day in the afternoon. The forests are very dense and there is a luxuriant growth of vegetation. The forest is divided into many layers. The topmost layer of these forests is called emergent, followed by the canopy layer which allows very little sunlight to pass through to the lower layers. The under canopy layer is below the canopy layer which has tall ferns and shrubs. Then is the forest floor which has the shrub layer.
