· Wash your hands regularly, especially before preparing or eating food and after going to the toilet.

· Drink only fresh and clean water.

· Maintain proper sanitation facilities.

· Women should be extra cautious during menstrual days. Genital area should be washed and sanitary napkins should be changed at least 4-5 times a day.
