Age structure of different populations are

(i) Expanding Population: This population has more pre-reproductive and reproductive population and less post reproductive population.

(ii) Stable Population: In this type of population, there are nearly equal number of pre-reproductive and reproductive individuals with a declining number of post reproductive individuals.

(iii) Declining Population: This population has larger number of post-reproductive individuals as compared to pre-reproductive and reproductive population.
