    Here, \[{{n}_{1}}=50,\] \[{{n}_{2}}=5,\] \[x=850\] and \[y=2500\] \[\therefore \] Average salary of the remaining staff \[=\frac{{{n}_{1}}x-{{n}_{2}}y}{{{n}_{1}}-{{n}_{2}}}=\frac{50\times 850-5\times 2500}{50-5}\] \[=\frac{42500-12500}{45}=\frac{3000}{45}=\text{Rs}\,\,667\] (approx)
