    Solution :

    Here , \[{{n}_{1}}=24,\] \[{{n}_{2}}=26\,\,x=58\] and \[y=60.5\] \[\therefore \] Average weight of all the 50 students. \[=\frac{{{n}_{1}}x+{{n}_{2}}y}{{{n}_{1}}+{{n}_{2}}}=\frac{24\times 58+26\times 60.5}{24+26}\] \[=\frac{1392+1573}{50}=\frac{2965}{50}=59.3\,\,\text{kg}\]
