Direction: Read the passage given below and answer the questions that follow: Two friends. Zack and carry decided to go skiing in their winter holidays. Their school organized the excursion and the trip lasted for seven days. All the student had to rent skis, suits, bindings, poles and boots at the hotel they stayed in. As all the students were beginners, they first had to learn how to walk on skis and then how to get up after a fall. Then they learned sidestepping uphill.

Zack and Carry, along with other students, dressed in ski suits and got on a ski lift that carried them to the top of a slope. They practiced skiing on the gentle slopes on the first day. Over the next six days, all the students learnt to take simple turns and then more difficult ones. At the end of the seven days, Zack and carry could comfortably ski on the snow and had a terrific time.
