Eden is the second biggest cricket stadium, after the Melbourne Cricket Ground of Australia, and is also known as the Lords of Asia. The stadium, seating capacity of which is 120,000, is owned by the Cricket Association of Bengal. In January 1934, Eden Garden hosted it's first-ever Test match against England. The first-ever One Day International match in Eden was played in February 1987, against Pakistan.
