    Answer any four of the following questions:                                                                            
    (i) In what subjects did the little man need help, to do Patrick's homework?
    (ii) Why did the waterfall give Taro sake and others water?
    (iii) What was the 'game' that every child in the school had to play?
    (iv) Why was Jumman happy every Algus nomination as head 'Panch'?
    (v) An old man won a clock and sold it back to the shopkeeper. How much money did he make?
    (vi) How did the myna and the crow interfere in the classic fight?

    Answer:

    (i) The little man needed Patrick's help in English, Maths and History.
    (ii) The waterfall gave Taro sake because he was hard working and very sincere. Besides, he was obedient to his parents, whereas other people were greedy and dishonest. Hence the waterfall gave them water.
    (iii) In the school each student had a blind-day, lame day, deaf day and a dumb-day. This game was specially designed to inculcate the plight of the unfortunates and the handicapped.
    (iv) Jumman and Algu were fast friends. When Algu was nominated Sarpanch, Jumman felt happy because he was confident of a decision in his favour.
    (v) An old man had won a beautiful clock worth Rs 15. He returned the clock for Rs 15 to the shopkeeper and took the cash instead.
    (vi) The myna and a jungle crow sat on the cactus plant and watched the fight. Both made a couple of attempts to attack the cobra. The crow wanted to peck and hurt the snake. Both flew over the snake but crow was bitten by the snake and it fell dead.
