Direction: In these questions, a relationship between different elements is shown in the statements. The statements are followed by two conclusions. Give answer
    Statements:    \[L\ge M=N;\,\,O>P\ge L;\,N=R\] Conclusions:    I. \[P>R\]         II. \[P=R\]

    A)  if only conclusion I is true.

    B)  if only conclusion II is true.

    C)  if either conclusion I or II is true.

    D)  if neither conclusion I nor II is true.

    E)  if both conclusion I and II are true.

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

Given statements: \[L\ge M=N\]     ?(i) \[O>P\ge L\]      ?(ii) \[N=R\]             ?(iii) Combining (i), (ii) and (iii), we get \[O>P\ge L\ge M=N=R\] Check for conclusion I. Thus, P > R is true. But I (P > R) is not true. Check for conclusion II. Again, P > R is true. But II (P = R) is not true. But both I and II make a complementary pair. Hence either conclusion I or If is true.
