    Solution :

    Let the initial height and radius be h and r respectively. Curved surved area \[27\pi rh\] after increase, curved surface area \[=2\pi (1.25r\times 1.35h)=3.375\pi rh\] \[\therefore \]Reqd % change \[=\frac{3.375\pi rh-2\pi rh}{2\pi rh}\times 100\]\[=68.75%\] Quicker approach: (Direct formula) % change in area\[=+25+35+\frac{(25)(35)}{100}\] = 60 + 8.75 = 68.75%
