    Raushans one days work \[=\frac{1}{40}\] (Raushan + Amrita)s one days work \[=\frac{1}{30}\] \[\therefore \] Amits one days work \[=\frac{1}{30}-\frac{1}{40}\] \[=\frac{1}{120}\] Raushans share to Amr its share = 120: 40 =3:1 \[\therefore \]Raushans Share \[=2896\times \frac{3}{4}=Rs.2172\] Method II. LCM of 40 and 30 is 120 \[\therefore \] Total work = 120 units (R + A) can do (.he work in one day \[=\frac{120}{30}\] = 4 units And R does the work in one day \[=\frac{120}{40}\]= 3 units \[\therefore \] Rs share \[=2896\times \frac{3}{4}=2172\]
