    Equation of the circle touching the line \[3x+y+2=0\] at (-1, 1) is             \[{{(x+1)}^{2}}\,+{{(y-1)}^{2}}\,+\lambda (3x+y+2)=0\]\             It passes through (3, 5)             \[\Rightarrow \,16+16+\lambda (\,9+5+2)\,=0\Rightarrow \,\lambda =-2\] \[\therefore \,\,\,\] Equation of circle is \[{{(x-1)}^{2}}\,+{{(y-1)}^{2}}-2(3x+y+2)=0\] \[\Rightarrow \,\,{{x}^{2}}+{{y}^{2}}-4x-4y\,-2=0\]
