    The lengths of two sides of a triangle are 12 cm, 15 cm. between what two measures should be length of third fall?

    Answer:

    In a triangle sum of the lengths of the sides is always greater than the third side Let the third side be x. \[\therefore \] We can say 12 + 15 > x 27 > x => x < 27 15 + x > 12 x > 12 - 15                                                                                                                    x > -3 Again, x + 12 > 15 x > 15 - 12 x > 3 We know      3 > - 3 x > 3 and x < 27                                                                                                           So, the length of third side should fall between 3 cm and 27 cm.
