    Answer:

    Verification: L.H.S. =\[-\frac{5}{8}+\frac{3}{5}\]
    \[=\frac{-5\times 5+3\times 8}{40}\]
    \[=\frac{-25+24}{40}=\frac{-1}{40}\]
    R.H.S. =\[\frac{3}{5}+\frac{-5}{8}\]
    \[=\frac{3\times 8+(-5)\times 5}{5}\]
    \[=\frac{24-25}{40}=-\frac{1}{40}\]
    \[\therefore \]    L.H.S. = R.H.S. Hence Verified.
