    Solution :

                 \[\frac{2}{5}x+40=\frac{2}{7}y+20=\frac{9}{17}z+10=a\] \[\therefore \]\[x=\frac{5}{2}(a-40),\]\[y=\frac{7}{2}(a-20)\]and\[z=\frac{17}{9}(a-10)\] \[\therefore \]\[\frac{5}{2}(a-40)+\frac{7}{2}(a-20)+\frac{17}{9}(a-10)=900\] \[45\,\,a-1800+63\,\,a-1260+34\,\,a-340=16200\] \[142\,\,a=16200+3400\] \[a=\frac{19600}{142}=138.02\] \[\therefore \]X?s share \[=\frac{5}{2}(138.02-40)\] \[=\frac{5}{2}\times 98.02\]= Rs. 245.05 = Rs. 245.05
