      A property dealer leaves 12900 sq yards area to be divided among his 5 brothers, 4 daughters and 2 sisters. If each daughter receives 4 times as much as each sister and each brother gets 5 times as much as each sister, then how much did each laughter get?

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

    Area received by each sister = x sq yards \[\therefore \]Area received by each brother = 5x sq yards and area received by each daughter =4x sq yards. By given condition, \[5\times 5x+4\times 4x+2x=12900\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[25x+16x+2x=12900\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[43x=12900\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[x=300\]sq yards
