    Required distance \[=\frac{\text{Product}\,\,\text{of}\,\,\text{two}\,\,\text{speeds}}{\text{Difference}\,\,\text{of}\,\,\text{two}\,\,\text{speeds}}\]\[\times \,\,\text{distance}\,\,\text{between}\,\,\text{arrival}\,\,\text{times}\] \[=\frac{30\times 40}{40-30}\times \frac{10+5}{60}=30\,\,km\]
