    Suppose the number is x. Then by question, 75% of \[x+75=x\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{3}{4}x+75=x\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[x-\frac{3}{4}x=75\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{x}{4}=75\]\[\therefore \]\[x=300\] So, the number is 300.
