    If the principal be Rs. x and rate of interest be r% per annum, then SI after 1 yr\[=920-880\]= Rs. 40 \[\therefore \]      SI after 2 yr = Rs.80 \[\Rightarrow \]   \[880=x+80\] \[\therefore \]\[x=\]Rs. \[(880-80)\]= Rs. 800
