    Let the sides of the two cubes are x and y. According to the question, \[\frac{{{x}^{3}}}{{{y}^{3}}}=\frac{27}{64}=\frac{{{(3)}^{3}}}{{{(4)}^{3}}}\] \[\therefore \]                  \[\frac{x}{y}=\frac{3}{4}\] We know that, surface area of the cube \[=6\times {{(\text{side})}^{2}}\] \[\therefore \]Ratio of their surface areas \[=\frac{6{{x}^{2}}}{6{{y}^{2}}}=\frac{6\times {{3}^{2}}}{6\times {{4}^{2}}}=\frac{9}{16}9:16\]
