    Solution :

    Let the length and breadth of rectangle are a and b respectively. According to the question, \[2\,\,(a+b)=160\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[a+b=80\]                    ?(i) \[\underline{a-b=48}\]                ?(ii) \[2a=128\](On adding), \[\Rightarrow \]   \[a=\frac{128}{2}=64\,\,\text{m}\] From Eq. (i) \[b=80-64=16\,\,\text{m}\] \[\therefore \]Area of rectangle \[=64\times 16\,\,{{\text{m}}^{2}}\] \[\therefore \]Area of square \[=64\times 16\,\,{{\text{m}}^{2}}\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[{{(\text{side})}^{2}}=64\times 16\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[\text{side}=8\times 4=32\,\,\text{m}\]
