    D)         Books

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

[b] Formaldehyde is a common precursor to more complex compounds and materials. In approximate order of decreasing consumption, products generated from formaldehyde include urea formaldehyde resin (used in adhesives, finishes, particle board, MDF, and moulded, objects), melamine resin (used in surface coatings), phenol formaldehyde resin (used for the production of moulded products including billiard balls, laboratory countertops, and as coatings and adhesives. Also were at one time the primary material used for the production of circuit boards), polyoxymethylene plastics (The material is widely used in the automotive and consumer electronics industry.). The textile industry uses formaldehyde-based resins as finishers to make fabrics crease-resistant. Formaldehyde-based materials are also key to the manufacture of automobiles, and used to make components for the transmission, electrical system, engine block, door panels, axles and brake shoes.
