    C)  A is true and R is false

    D)  A is false and R is true

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

[b] Disguised unemployment exists where part of the labour force is either left without work or is working in a redundant manner where worker productivity is essentially zero. An economy demonstrates disguised unemployment where productivity is low and "where too many workers are filling too few jobs. It is again a feature of the agrarian economies. When more people are engaged than actually required for production, it is called disguised unemployment. If a part of labour force is withdrawn from the farm the total output of the farm will remain unchanged. The withdrawn labour force will be termed as disguisedly employed. Even though farm mechanisation shows an increasing trend recently, there are wide ranging disparities in the levels of mechanisation across states. India is the second largest manufacturer of tractors in the world.
