    Decay constant, \[\lambda \,\,=\,\,{{10}^{-}}^{6}{{s}^{-}}^{1}.\] The half-life \[{{T}_{1/2}}\] is thus given by \[{{T}_{1/2}}\,\,=\,\,\frac{0.639}{\lambda }\,\,=\frac{0.639}{{{10}^{-6}}}\,\,\,=\,\,0.639\times {{10}^{6}}s\] \[= 192.5 hr.\, 8 days =1.14 week \approx  1 week\]
