    Since adsorption is an exothermic process (taking place with the evolution of heat) therefore in accordance with Le-Chatelier?s principle, the magnitude of physical adsorption will decrease with the increase in temperature. In case of chemisorption the adsorption first increases and then decreases with increase in temperature.
