    The intensity of electric field at a point due to change Q, distance r is given by \[E=\frac{1}{4\pi {{\varepsilon }_{0}}}\frac{(-2Q)}{r}\] \[E'=\frac{1}{4\pi {{\varepsilon }_{0}}}\frac{(Q)}{r}\] Dividing Eq. [a] by Eq. [b], we get           \[\frac{E}{E'}=-\frac{2Q}{Q}\] \[\Rightarrow \,\,\,\,\,\,\,E'=-\frac{E}{2}\]
