Then \[Y=\frac{(W/{{A}_{1}})}{({{\ell }_{1}}/L)}=\frac{W\,\,L}{{{A}_{1}}{{\ell }_{1}}}\]                           ?(1) and \[Y=\frac{(W/{{A}_{2}})}{({{\ell }_{2}}/L)}=\frac{W\,\,L}{{{A}_{2}}{{\ell }_{2}}}\]                     ....(2) Dividing equation (1) by equation (2), we get \[1=\left( \frac{{{\ell }_{2}}}{{{\ell }_{1}}} \right)\left( \frac{{{A}_{2}}}{{{A}_{1}}} \right)=\left( \frac{{{\ell }_{2}}}{{{\ell }_{1}}} \right)\left( \frac{2}{1} \right)\] \[\therefore \]\[\frac{{{\ell }_{1}}}{{{\ell }_{2}}}=\frac{2}{1}\]or \[{{\ell }_{1}}:{{\ell }_{2}}=2:1\]
