Water can be filled in 1st glass \[=\frac{2}{3}\]

Water in 2nd glass \[=\frac{1}{4}\]

Water can be filled in 2nd glass \[=\frac{3}{4}\]

Required ratio \[=\frac{\frac{1}{3}+\frac{1}{4}}{\frac{2}{3}+\frac{3}{4}}=\frac{4+3}{8+9}=\frac{7}{17}=7:17\]
