    [b] Pipe A can filled the tank in 1 min \[=\,\frac{1}{20}part\]
    Pipe B can filled the tank in 1 min \[=\,\,\frac{1}{30}part\]
    If both pipes are open, then
    Tank can be filled in 1 min
    \[=\frac{1}{30}+\frac{1}{20}=\frac{20+30}{600}=\frac{50}{600}part\]
    So, tank can be fully filled in \[=\,\,\frac{600}{50}=12\,\,\min .\]
