\[=2400\times \frac{20}{100}=480\] |
Number of male members in club D in 2008 |
\[=2400\times \frac{12}{100}=288\] |
Let the increased number \[=x\] |
\[\therefore \]\[\frac{480+x}{288+x}=\frac{17}{11}\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[5280+11x-4896+17x\] |
\[\Rightarrow \]\[6x=5280-4896=384\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[x=64\] |
\[\therefore \]Number of male members in club D in 2009 |
\[=288+64=352\] |
